Phyllostachys nigra henon hedge

In June of 2005 we dug a ditch and created a reinforced concrete rhizome barrier in the ground to contain the root system.  We added a linear drip system with one gallon per hour integral emitters each 18" of tubing.  The plants were in 15 gallon pots.
