Residential hedge in Santa Monica

Tall evergreen hedge was dying out, attacked by a disease that seems to be spreading through such plants in Southern California.  We installed Bambusa oldhamii plus a new drip watering system.  The owner gave the new plants very good care, including trimming and disciplining all branches that dared to stick out a bit too much by pulling them back with short pieces of string.
