Burbank Airport Plaza

Phyllostachys vivax installed at rear of parking lot in 2001.  The section planted in the 8' wide growing strip seems to be doing better that the section planted in the 3' wide growing strip.  I'm not sure if this is because of larger root systems in the 8' wide strip or the result of less water available in the narrower strip.
