Residence in Burbank

Bambusa oldhamii planted as 15 gallon pots in full sun on a slope of decomposed granite and a heavy growth of ivy groundcover.  The watering system uses sprinklers and is not functioning very well.  The result is root systems with not enough good soil and not enough water for the bamboo.  The plants are yellow and have a rather sparse amount of foliage because of not getting enough water and too much sun.
