United States Steel Building
One of the projects I worked on while at SOM in New York City. I made plans, designed elevations, made models, etc, etc. It was important to have an exposed steel facade and we had to get a lot of variances to allow it, since steel usually had to be covered with a lot of bulky fire insulation. We got it approved because the steel was outside the building and at that time it was assumed any fire would come from the inside of the building. We also had to build a full-size mockup and attempt to burn it. It passed. I doubt it would pass today, even though the building was right next to The World Trade Center and survived that disaster unscathed.
