Narrower leaves that the typical Fargesia nitida. A 1 gallon pot with 8 4' culms sold at the September 1991 N.W.ABS sale for $90. Robert Lester reported that it, like all fargesias, wants to grow in a shady location but also adapts well to hot summers.
