CHUSQUEA FOLIOSA

Ornamental bamboo with thick clumps of very narrow, long thin droopy leaves on long slender branches. Needs cool summers and moderate winters not below 20 F. Collected at high elevations in Southern Mexico from the State of Chiapas in 1985. New shoots are reddish in color. 1/2" diameter canes get 20' tall in habitat.
