panda preserve in Wolong, Sichuan, China at approximately 4,000 feet altitude.
Perhaps the most sought after Borinda with gently weeping half inch culms which
are purple-green with white powder when young. Mature branches are deep magenta
with small, delicate leaves. Wants a sheltered area with afternoon shade.
