Chinese Goddess Bamboo, Solid-stem Fern-leaf Bamboo, Koon yam chuk.

        Intermediate form from China, said to be smaller than Alphonse Karr but larger & more vigorous than Golden Goddess.    We find the name in the U.S. to be used indiscriminately by growers and the plant is usually a healthy specimen of Golden Goddess.  We usually don't like Golden Goddess.  For that reason we usually don't recommend it.  The name is too unreliable and one is never sure what it's going to grow up to be.
