Small species from Hainan island off the south coast of China. Culms reach about 16 ft. tall and 1 inch in diameter. Narrow leaves. Straight at the base with nodding tops. Perhaps good for small spaces or a relatively small hedge or screen. Seems to tolerate drought and wind.
