        Similar to P.gramineus with wider, more erect leaves.

        A 5 gallon pot was sold at the fall '91 SCABS sale for $35.  A 15 gallon pot with 2 18" culms was sold at the fall '91 NWABS sale for $100.  A gallon pot was sold at the '92 SCABS sale for $20.

        David Andrews in Maryland reports plant is evergreen down to 9 degrees F. but culms die to ground at 3 degrees F. but regrow in the spring.
