HIMALAYACALAMUS PORCATUS

Sun, 10 degrees F Minimum, Clumper.

        Thin-walled, tight clump of vertical canes from Nepal, similar to Himalayacalamus hookerianus.  Gets 20' tall, canes have a bluish cast and vertical ribbing.  Five gallon plant was supplied by Gib Cooper to spring 2002 Southern California Bamboo Society auction and was bought for $235.
