FARGESIA UTILIS  photo by Jos Kevenaar  5' height, Sun, 0 degrees F Minimum.  Small, delicate Chinese mountain clumper native to the Yunnan Province in Central China between 9,000 & 12,000'.  Rather unknown, a recent import by ABS, possibly very hardy.  We've had bad luck growing it.  It grows for awhile & then dies, & if we try to divide it - it dies for sure.  A good one to do some hardiness testing on.
