- When grown rather dry in a pot the leaves of
this
one are only about 1/4" x 1-1/2" & grow
closely
together in fern-like rows on a 12" high
plant.
If grown in the ground in rich moist soil, the
plants
grow larger with more widely spaced leaves.
Occasional
reversions to the full size form must
be
pruned out or they will take over.

Installed inside the new LA Convention Center with
about
150 foot-candles of light in the fall of
1993, but as far as I know they did not
survive.
