Full Sun, 20 degrees F Minimum, Clumper.

        Medium size plant with yellow culms resembling textilis.  A 5 gallon pot was sold at the 1990 ABS sale for $150.  The single 20' high plant at Quail

Gardens started flowering in 1991 & 1992 but no viable seed was found.  The Southern California branch of the Bamboo Society offered a few 1

gallon pots at their 1991 fall sale for $15 each.  Jean Harrington grew a seedling up to 9' tall in 2 years in St Pete Fl which was hit by 27

degrees for 1 night in 1995 & suffered only minor damage.
