- BAMBUSA NEW TULDA
-
- Full Sun, 20 degrees F Minimum, Clumper.
- Unidentified plant imported into the U.S.
from Puerto Rico by Richard Haubrich
in 1985.
-
Attractive branch pattern with many small, fine branchlets.
Easy to force foliage from culm cuttings but
not easy to then produce roots &
plantlets. Jean Harrington in St
Pete, Florida grew a small plant up to
18' tall densely leaved bushy plant, good
for hedging or screening in only one year! It
was only minimally damaged by 1 night of 27 degrees
in 1995.
