Pleioblastus are still dormant.  Their foliage should be cut to the ground, except for large attractive canes.  This will make room for the larger, more beautiful foliage that will appear in a month or so and is much easier than trying to trim out between the soft new canes a few months from now.  Good month to divide and take Pleioblastus rhizome cuttings.
